Free workout tips: build a routine you can repeat
Start small, choose manageable movements and make room for recovery.

Choose a realistic week
Choose training days you can reliably fit around work and home life. Start at a manageable level and build activity gradually rather than trying to make up for missed sessions.
The NHS recommends strengthening activities for all major muscle groups on at least two days a week, alongside aerobic activity. If you have not exercised for some time or have medical concerns, speak to your GP before starting.
Keep the session simple
Ask a qualified gym instructor to demonstrate unfamiliar equipment and help you choose a resistance you can control. These are general tips, not an individually assessed programme.
- Plan a few familiar movements before you arrive.
- Write down your exercise, resistance and how it felt.
- Allow rest between sessions and adjust if you feel unwell.
- Stop if you experience sharp pain or dizziness rather than pushing through.
Use a plan as a starting point
The free generator can suggest a workout around your equipment and available days. Review every suggestion and ask for help when a movement is unfamiliar. Progress is individual; no particular result is guaranteed.
